Privacy

CanIFlyWithMyBattery has no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies. Here is everything it collects and why.

Searches

What you type in the search box is sent to CanIFlyWithMyBattery’s server to find matching batteries. The server doesn’t save your searches. On the home page, your search also appears in the page’s address (after “?q=”), so it’s kept in your browser’s history like any other address. While the site is open, your last search is kept in the page’s memory so the search box can show it on the next page; it’s gone when you close or reload the site.

The calculator

The numbers you enter in the calculator are calculated in your browser and aren’t sent anywhere.

Cookies and storage

CanIFlyWithMyBattery doesn’t set cookies. The only thing it saves in your browser is your choice of light, dark or auto mode, in local storage, so the site remembers it. It stays on your device.

Usage counts

To understand how many people use the site, CanIFlyWithMyBattery uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without storing anything in your browser.

Hosting and links

Requests pass through CanIFlyWithMyBattery’s hosting and network providers, Oracle Cloud and Cloudflare, which process IP addresses to deliver and protect the site under their own privacy policies (Oracle, Cloudflare). CanIFlyWithMyBattery itself doesn’t store IP addresses. If you email CanIFlyWithMyBattery, your message and address are kept only to reply. Links to other sites are governed by those sites’ policies.

Children

CanIFlyWithMyBattery is a general travel tool and is not directed to children under 13.
